WHAT IS A SERUM AND HOW TO USE ONE?
A face serum is a thin-viscosity skincare product containing small molecules of highly concentrated amounts of active ingredients and vital nutrients.
Think of serums as a delivery system for your skin, allowing the concentrated active molecules to penetrate deeper into the skin for optimum fast results. They target skin concerns at a cellular level, helping your skin to combat many issues like acne, fine lines, pigmentation issues, redness, aging issues and inflammation, to name a few.Â
A serum can be formulated to be used for the face, eyes and body. It is applied after cleansing, and before moisturizing. It is important to exfoliate the skin on a regular basis, removing dead skin cells that may block the serum from soaking in fully, and reaching its full potential. To maximize the serums’ benefits, you will want to allow the serum to soak in or dry, and then apply a moisturizer or face lotion over it. Serums and moisturizers are two different products. Each provides different benefits to the skin and are needed for different things.
Frequency is important to obtain the full results intended. Using a serum on a regular daily basis ensures that you get the full results. For example, if you are using the Firm Up Serum, but are only applying it once a week, you are not going to be seeing the results you are expecting to see. That being said, keep in mind more is not always a good thing. Only use them as instructed, once or twice daily, or as needed if less. For example, using the Acne Treatment Serum more than instructed may do your skin harm and hinder the healing powers of the serum.
Layering is another great way to get the most benefits out of your products. My favorite during the dry winter months is to apply the Firm Up Serum, let it dry, and then apply the Pumpkin Carrot Seed. And, then I take it one step further, and apply my moisturizer, sealing in the serum and protecting my skin from dehydration.

This is the perfect everyday, antioxidant packed serum for all skin types Wonderful for younger skin, to protect the skin from free radicals. Used as a preventative serum. Or can be layered , or as a daytime serum.
This free radical fighting antioxidant serum is high in vitamin C, E, and berry extracts that helps fight off the assault your skin encounters on a daily basis from free radicals.
